Since i now have a "real job" with "normal length holidays", this year i'm planning to walk the Cambrian Way,
which takes a reasonably realistic 3 weeks.

It crosses the peaks of the Breacon Beacons and Snowdonia, 18742 metres ascent, the height of Everest,
and twice as much as the Pennine Way or Cape Wrath Trail.

Well, on Friday.
I'm a bit nervous about this, having had the last six months to think about it and realising just how hilly it is.

Still, i'm as ready as possible.
Got the maps, got new socks, got the train tickets, and just got a new, summer season sleeping bag which packs ridiculously small and light:

So good to go. There will be a "live" map at the top of the page showing my day to day progress. (whenever its sunny enough to charge the battery in my gps anyway)
